If the Flames have interest in taking Campbell back and burying him, absolutely. That's the only scenario where a 5M goalie to Edmonton makes much sense though.

I'm not sure if Campbell has one or not. It was reported when he signed the deal that there wasn't, but CapFriendly has a 10 team NTC. I'm not sure who would be on a 10 team NTC if he does have one - or if he would just want out of the Edmonton spotlight and away from the vitriol of Oiler fans.

Given how the last two seasons have went in Calgary, Markstrom might be okay with a fresh start. Given how goalies fare in Edmonton, he might laugh at the thought of waiving to go there.

if I remember correctly, Lindholm was instrumental in recruiting Markstrom and they're very close off the ice.

Be nice if our star was friends with anyone good but nooooo, McDavid's guys are Drake Caggiula and Devin Shore and Warren Foegele and Connor Brown (not including Drai and Nurse who were already here)
