You're right, I heard that too. Holland tried to sign Marky but he passed on them.

Jacob knows what's up in Edmonton and it's a graveyard for goalies.

It's the only way a deal could work imo. I'm aware its super unlikely, but this is just me answering OP as an Oiler fan. Yes, I'd have interest in Markstrom, I'd also add to Campbell to do it. If the Flames say no so be it.

Oilers have so much wrong defensively this year that even if they acquired sorokin as their #1 goalie I doubt it would help them. They're albatross on team defence and look slow this year.

Kind of a dumb thread. Calgary wouldn't be interested in trading Markstrom in the first place. And Edmonton's problems are more than just in goal.

If Calgary trades Markstrom, or Vladar, it will be down east somewhere.

I think we keep Markstrom and Vladar until it becomes apparent we are totally out of it.
