Post-Game Talk: Worst team wins? Or loses? Habs lose 2nd straight

We still suck with Drouin out of the lineup, but not suck as much as we've sucked the past two games.

Yeah, sure, that's fair.

But look at our roster... Drouin is at best our fifth best forward and at worst our 7th best forward (Suzuki, Caufield, Dach, Dvorak, Anderson, Gally, Drouin)

We literally finished dead last in the previous season and we have 4 rookie defencemen I am not sure exactly what some people were expecting to happen?

I was dead wrong on my short term prediction but I still have time. I said 25th by mid December or the end of this home stand. While Habs aren't 30th- bad, I stand by my prediction that they will finish between 27-29th

Yeah, folks should relax their nerves with Drouin. Habs are trying to tank. Think about Bedard or the top five.
Drouin isn't worst than Armia, Wideman, Dadonov or Evans. Ok, Dadonov is better by a tiny margin. And Hoffman is better than Dado by a little margin. A a lot of Habs players sucks. Pitlick and Gallagher too. And Pizzatta. Let's not have high expectations for this year.

But hate Drouin if you want, if that's makes you feel better.

There really isn't anything to say about Drouin that hasn't already been said, good, bad or ugly. All for moving on.

Hoffman is better and cheaper than Drouin. Evans is more useful than Drouin,, Slaf is better... Wut?

Every game literally just comes down to whether Caufield and Suzuki can outscore the entirety of the other team.

Gally, Drouin, Armia and Dadonov combine for over a 20 million cap hit and have 5 goals in total through the first 30 games of the season lol.

So much money wasted on dead weight. Incredible.

I don't think that does ny change. But sure MSL using Drouin as a defenseman or a 6th forward with an empty net is not Nobel Price level. Afterall, MSL should be aware Drouin is coming back to the game after a long injury. Someone should advice him to let his icetime limited, at least he first 3 games.

I don't see anyone being worse than Anaheim or Chicago this year.

I can't imagine that we can be worse than SJS with any sort of consistency - especially as Erik regresses.

I think that Arizona is still just significantly worse than we are.

Everyone else should catch up to us - we should be drafting somewhere around 5th overall without lottery jumps.

Why is our board the most miserable place to be after a loss?

We aren't a playoff team - they almost came back again from being down 2-0. We lost to two teams in two nights that are below us in the standings ... all good signs.

I don't see the point in being so critical with so little on the line (and in the lineup).

Like I said a few weeks ago, I celebrate every goal. Habs youth scores Yay! Opponent scores Yay! It's a perfect time to not stress ourselves with meaningless outcomes.

I don't think JD was the worst player tonight. He just should not play at the point with an empty net. The freaking obsession of playing only forwards in crucial moments is annoying.

When we have few Ds who have a shot like X and Ghule. Or Harris who is supposed to become a good offensive D.
