Worst team schedule this year

Sens haven't had back to back home games in over a month. The teams schedule is absolutely terrible.

Curious to hear what the rest of leagues schedules been because I find it hard to believe there be a worst scheduled team, but I don't have all the teams details to know.

So tell me, whose the worst scheduled team this year?

As I obviously think, for right or shame, it's the sens by a country mile

Strength of schedule matters way more and last time I saw Sens weren't near the top. Combined with post above, this is a non-issue.

West coast teams always have more difficult schedules because of their travel. Teams in the North east US and south east Canada have the easiest schedules. Travel is key regardless of back to back and other factors. Nothing worse on legs than travel.

Should change to read Consecutive home games. Carolina on Thur and Fri played Tor and Van at home. I don't think that is what you are referring to for the Sens.

Worst schedule is 1 off road trips. Unless you are LA/Ana playing each other or NYR/NYI/NJ/PHI playing each other or something really close, it just sucks to play a game or 2 at home then fly out to another city and return home for another game.

jets had 14 straight games with travel playing every other day, including a 6 game trip that started on the east coast and went to the west coast, it was brutal and they could hardly skate during it

Each team gets to have input as to their ideal scheduling preferences. I know the Caps’ schedules are typically backloaded towards the 2nd half of the season so they aren’t competing with the NFL and college football.

You also have arenas that are shared with NBA teams or are major concert venues — I’m sure there are a lot of financial considerations that get taken into account when putting together a schedule that take precedence over equalizing b2b games across the league.

I did mean consecutive games and not back to back in the original post. Still not awesome sens schedule, but at least I can see others also got the shit end of stick
