I’m glad your Stars facepaint told me it was a direct headshot with an attempt to end a young players career over a hit to the chest that caused a guy to get injured. Keep the same energy when Mason Marchment throws an identical hit and gets tossed as a result.
Who said anything about attempting to end someone’s career? Completely fabricating something no one said definitely doesn’t help your cause.

A5 minute major was called on the ice. It was reviewed, and a match penalty was added.
Bichsel will not return tonight due to a concussion.

Probably because it was a shoulder chin hit.
But random fan on the internet keeps telling me it was a hit to the chest. Surely they can’t be wrong.

The way you’re convinced that Cizikas took his head off when every angle of the videos shows otherwise basically gives that away.
I also never said anything about “taking his head off.” You repeating something not true over and over again isn’t going to suddenly make it true.

Then stop trying to reason that the head was only shoulder to head when it wasn’t even close to that.
...yeah, calling that a Game Misconduct was a pretty terrible call, especially after reviewing it...maybe this game has IIHF refs... 
I’ll take the opinion of the professional referees who said it was a headshot, over the opinion of random fan on the internet who says it wasn’t.

You haven’t had one good take in this thread so far but hey, the refs must always be right because they’re paid to do it.
Also didn’t say they are always right. The fact that you keep resorting to putting words in my mouth tells me all I need too know.

Everything you’ve posted comes back to the refs have to be right, Cizikas took his head off or heads can only snap back on hits from head contact. All of which have been proven wrong by multiple people on here.
I’ve quite literally said none of those things. But please keep putting up the strawmen, it’s hilarious.

Reread your posts from the start. First comment was regarding Cizikas hit being an intestinal headshot. Then you went to heads only whipping back after going forward while trying to claim physics then it was followed by trusting the refs because they’re paid so they must be right. Next you’ll be angry when the league has no supplemental discipline regarding this hit because they know they screwed up and can’t backtrack on it. The 5 minute power play for a questionable hit is what won Dallas the game.

A detail that seems lost in all this is that Bischel never touched the puck. It’s one thing to slightly mis-time a bit on the puck carrier, but something quite different to hit a guy who doesn’t have the puck in the face and end up knocking him out of the game.
That’s as clean of a hit as you can get, don’t know how anyone is arguing otherwise.
But the worst major of all time will forever be the game 7 Vegas/Sharks
...he was literally swinging his stick to make an attempt on the puck...that is splitting hairs with a ridiculously fine-toothed comb...

Not the worst I’ve ever seen. This one would be in my book as it was perfectly legal at the time and somehow was called interference.
