Trotz. His free agent signings alone are enough to get him this award, and then you have the Askarov trade, dumping their goalie of the future as the team looks ready to hit the rebuild button, dumping Fabbro on waivers when half the league likely put a claim in on him and would have traded something for him. It's just repeated blunders by Trotz this year.

You have to pick one for your team for 5 years, who you taking ?

Dorion

Bergevin ?

uh, this is not even close

Bergevin >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dorion

Pretty much everything that Dorion touched ended up in a loss. Bergevin made so many good trades in comparison.

Zibanejad, Duchene x 2, Stone, Hoffman, Zaitsev, Gustavsson, Hamonic, Stepan, Nick Paul, Dadonov, DeBrincat, Chychrun, Korpisalo, Forsberg contract, DJ Smith.... it basically never ends with Dorion.

Quick example, he gave away 24y/o Filip Gustavsson for 35 y/o UFA-to-be Cam Talbot in the midst of a rebuild, on a team dying to get stability in nets.

Almost everything he has touched has an horror story behind it.

He did trade Karlsson and ended up with Norris and Stutzle from that trade at least.

A lot of people were bashing the trade at the beginning, I was one of the few defending it.

2020 1st round pick : that pick ended up 3rd OA in Tim Stutzle. Nobody thought the contenders Sharks could free fall that fast. I was one of the very few who called them missing the playoffs in 2020 but expected a 10th OA pick, not a 3rd OA. Dorion lucked out there.

Josh Norris : great player but will unfortunately never have the career he could have had because of his injuries, can't blame Dorion for that though

Dylan DeMelo : Dorion traded him for a 3rd round pick, when they were in DIRE NEED of a RHD to play with Chabot, who he had a great chemistry with. Puzzling because as far as we know, he wanted to stay. Sens eventually picked Leevi Merilainen with that 3rd

2019 2nd round pick : Mads Sogaard, good goalie prospect but a guy who doesn't look like he'll ever figure out the NHL. At least he hasn't been able so far.

2021 2nd round pick : Zack Ostapchuk, should be a decent bottom-6 forward

Chris Tierney : didn't trade him at peak value (and I was screaming for Dorion to trade him for almost 2 years), he ended up as having negative value. It was so stupid to not trade him.

Rudolfs Balcers : they waived him, Sharks claimed him and he was a pretty decent 2-way 3rd liner for them. Didn't even get a pick for him

The return ended up great but without Stutzle's pick, it doesn't look nearly as good, particularly with Norris injuries and giving up DeMelo for a 3rd (or not trading Tierney when he had value)

Dorion even found ways to screw up when he made good moves. Wait to see what he did with Ryan Dzingel's return... which was Anthony Duclair and two 2nd round picks. It's mesmerizing.

Lots of good options this year. Typically you don’t see many GMs really make serious mistakes.

Trotz, Drury, Adams, Yzerman.

A lot of guys that I was not expecting to see there.

Yeah, Trotz has potentially put Nashville in a position where they can't really start a rebuild, nor compete for another 4-5 years. Purgatory is the worst place for any team to be, and it looks like that's where they're headed.
When Stiga scored the golden goal I figured Preds fans could use that more than most
