Worst fighter of all time?

Sesito is a joke. Good punching bag, though.

Sure he loses more than he wins, but you try fighting McGrattan several times a season and see what your W/L record looks like. At least he's trading punches and not getting totally ragdolled.

Tostitos is nowhere near the "worst of all time". I not saying he's good or anything... actually, he's average at best, and slightly below average at worst. But he could still beat the poo out of most of the "fighters" mentioned here.

He only played a handful of games with the Capitals in 2003, but Garret Stroshein who mostly played for Portland and Providence in the AHL was probably the worst fighter I ever saw at any level. 6'7" and 250 pounds of wimp. A legendary minor league goon named Mike Sgroi once climbed into the penalty box and beat the tar out of him in Albany. He was also a horrible player, which made his reason for existence on any roster above the SPHL quizzical.

Kostopolous is close but it has to be Adams, he lost pretty bad to Campbell who's another candidate.

I remember one of the first NHL games he ever player where he fought Doug Doull. The announcers were trying sell Stroshein as real scary because he was 6'7" and left handed.

Vial was a pretty good fighter. He fought a wide open style, so he took some hits, but he also had some big wins in his career. His career ended poorly, but it does for most fighters. He was a good enforcer. A guy who beat Berube, Simpson, May, Ray, Belanger, etc. is certainly not worthy of being mentioned in this thread. Or are you just basing this on that one slugfest with Ray where he got dropped at the end?

Seriously, some of the names mentioned in this thread are making my head spin. Brett Lindros, Dennis Vial, Ivanans as worst fighters ever? They would murder the likes of Leach or Webb 10 out of 10 times.

Kelly Buchburger near the end of his career was horrible. Chris Dingman and Steve McKenna were huge enforcers that couldn't fight. Then you have middleweights like Nick Kypreos, Steve Webb, Ryan Hollweg, Tom Kostopoulos, Steve Leach, and Gregory Campbell.

Tony Horacek was a big guy who lost a lot of fights.
