Only want to talk about UFA's that chose to sign here from other teams. Figured this might be a fun list to make. :)

This list certainly isn't comprehensive.

I also have a bias, as I only really started watching in 2003...so any names before then I might have missed.

Bertuzzi. It was a massive overpayment and it crippled us financially. There’s been some bad ones but that was the worst.

trading a 2nd for Bieksa is up there with the worst moves, but free agent signings? Bertuzzi

Bieksa and Shattenkirk for me. Bertuzzi was bad but only was a 2 year deal. Fedorov was disappointing but was still a movable contract and he was an elite talent even if he underperformed.

Bieksa needs to be on the list. Hard to say Shattenkirk because of small sample but it doesn't look promising. Sutton was putrid.

Wow I completely forgot that Heatley was briefly a Duck

A lot of these guys came just before I was able to watch every game like I am now, so I'm voting Other just to see the results.

And while I agree that Bieksa shouldn't count since he was technically re-signed, **** Kevin Bieksa. Great analyst, horrible player.

Andy Sutton is a memory lol I completely forgot he existed. Bryan Allen also gets a vote from me for failing to mark Marian Gaborik in front of the net at the end of Game 1.

But yes, Bertuzzi is the winner for me as well, especially because the Andy Mac trade tanked Giggy emotionally for a bit.

Eaves doesn’t really qualify but that one is frustrating. Played the minimum amount of games needed to bump the second round pick we traded up to a first. Then got injured, signed for a few years and played like 35 games for us over the course of 3 seasons here

A lot of bad signings, like in every org. The Shattenkirk overlap is pure emotion based on time. There where way bader signings.

Why is Heatley an option? He only signed for 1 year, $1 million, sure he sucked but it was completely inconsequential.

totally forgot about prospal's one season in anaheim. definitely disappointing but then again, everyone on that 03-04 team was disappointing
