I think "David Jones" wearing 54 is probably the worst number/player combination.

Hate when I skater wears a goalie number 33 isn’t bad but I mean like 30,31,35 etc can’t think of an example right now but I know I’ve seen it

#7 has been worn by some greats (Max Bentley, Tim Horton, and Lanny McDonald), but also by some real turkeys: Ken Murray, Jim Harrison, Terry Clancy, Greg Terrion, Gilles Thibaudeau, Dave McLlwain, David Sacco, Mike Ridley, Sergio Momesso, Kelly Fairchild, Jason Podollan, Derek King, and Garnet Exelby.
I was glad they finally retired it before it could be further soiled.

I'd say he already has, the only other guy I recall wearing 16 was Shakey, he was a decent player but nowhere near Marners skill level

I don’t really consider 34 a common goalie number I meant more of the ones I listed. 34 is definitely still an uncommon number for a skater though, matthews will make it more common for sure.
