The last game he played for Valerenga was more than a month ago so certainly an injury. Was Solberg cut?
Odd he played last year and was cut this year - or was it because of injury he didn’t make the team?
From what I understand, there is no legal or illegal way to watch most games as IIHF usually publishes the official stream and it's not the case this time.is there any legal way to watch the division 1a? surprised tsn never buys the rights to it tbh considering they got 5 channels these days
Looks like it is being streamed by mygame.no, but is geoblocked.is there any legal way to watch the division 1a? surprised tsn never buys the rights to it tbh considering they got 5 channels these days
Hungary have built many new ice rinks the later years. To be fair, Danish fans have been talking about this for years, they too seem to think few superstars covered the fact that their program isn't actually any good, fundamentally. At this point, it seems like a sure thing they will be going down to 1-2 NHLers after Eller retires.
I think the truth is in the middle (much like with Norway over the last 10 years or so). I really can't imagine they are 1B team from now on.
Hungary, meanwhile, prove in yet another game they can play against anyone in this division (as it is now).
OT win for Japan is not enough, they must win in regulation to earn promotion.Looks like DIV 1B is Ukraine or Japan(Japan wins in OT or regulation and they advance to DIV1A). Was really hoping to see a stronger performance from Italy with some of their talented major junior players and goaltender. Perhaps starting out against a strong Ukraine team wasnt the formula they needed.
Italy is still likely to finish 2nd. Considering they played in the D2A last year, that's not a bad result at all. Sure they could have put up more of a fight in the game against Ukraine but not like Ukrainians don't have legitimately talented players.Looks like DIV 1B is Ukraine or Japan(Japan wins in OT or regulation and they advance to DIV1A). And an OT loss would still likely push them all the way down to 3rd so it's really a regulation win-or-bust situation.OT win for Japan is not enough, they must win in regulation to earn promotion.
Solberg has been injured since the middle of November unfortunately. Would have been a lock in this team if not.Was Solberg cut?

They deserve itJapan looks set for the promotion midway through the game with Ukraine. Unbelievable what they are doing even without the superstar Aito Iguchi.![]()
If Kazakhstan is Eastern Europe maybe we can adopt Japan as well?Looks like a bad day for Eastern Europe, as Norway is beating Kazakhstan while Ukraine is losing to Japan.
The last time Norway stayed at the top level was 1990 I believe.Norway beats Kazakhstand 5-3 and wins the tournament. One special thing is that only 6 of the players in our squad is born in 2003, so this means that most of the squad can play in the WJC next year as well.
Petter Vesterheim was Norways best player in the tournament imo.
Norway's last three appearences in WJC elite are 13-14, 10-11 and 05-06.The last time Norway stayed at the top level was 1990 I believe.
They had a really good 6th place finish... placed above the USA.
Sorry mate, but I guess you better check your map.Looks like a bad day for Eastern Europe, as Norway is beating Kazakhstan while Ukraine is losing to Japan.
To be fair, I don't think Denmark belongs in 1B. They are too good to be relegated IMO.I already was excited for eventual 1B Denmark - Croatia matchup, but France didn't deliver in their final game. Slovenia goes down after all.
I was so nervous before this evnings final game vs Kazakhstan. After two periods I almost told my girlfriend to turn off the TV, and start to decorate our Christmastree instead, I was so nervous I could barely watch.Norway beats Kazakhstan 5-3 and wins the tournament.
