Dvorsky, Stenberg, Stancl, Lindstein, all excellent, Pekarcik pretty good too

Next year Ralph, Jiricek, Jecho, Kos should be back, perhaps the first rounder later this year. Jecho following a Stancl trajectory would be sweet. Jiricek's confidence is growing with each game, these last two games he has looked his best so far. He was pretty noticeable tonight in a positive way

Lindstein had his worst game tonight. However, he had looked very poised & solid the entire tournament.

Outside of that, the Blues had studs on display in Stancl, Divorsky, & Stenberg.

Good things brewing with our drafted talent. Snuggerud, Divorsky, and Stenberg has the makings of a legitimate NHL scoring line.

I don't think they have announced the all tournament team
All I know is that Feldbergs really should be the MVP. The only one who might contend with him is if Rimpinen shuts down the US. One game to go, but here is how I see it.

C Helenius - Games versus US and Sweden showed who the best center there was. Very Impressed
W Leonard
W Stancl
D Sandin-Pelikka
D Hutson
G Feldbergs/Rimpinen

He’s probably been the most notable Czech forward along with Sikora but that ain’t saying much as US isn’t giving up much of anything. Jiricek not showing much composure with the puck tonight. Exciting package but very raw and he’s years away.
Unfortunately he is lookin much, much worse than before his injury a year ago.

Maybe if the blues keep their first rounder they’ll pick a Canadian next year and let that team have a scoring leader. I’m joking but it’s a lot of success for the blues group and we get one last game with a bazillion prospects this afternoon. Good times.

Five of our six forward prospects are at or above a point per game in the tournament. The only one who isn’t is Kos, an 18 year old D+1 3rd round pick. Two of our three defense prospects are going to medal. I’d say that it has been a good tournament in terms of the future of our franchise, no matter what happens in the medal round today.

Jiricek looked like a 1D against the US more than any other game thus far, less so the first time they played Sweden 5 days ago. Looking forward to today

It's been a fantastic tournament for our scouting team. Those guys crushed it. We already knew they did a good job, but none of us knew just how good until now. Because we were all high on these players for the most part, but I don't think anyone would have predicted this type of scoring from all these guys.

Also glad to see Stenberg getting some love. I've always seen more than a 3rd liner in him, and I think he'll end up being more impactful than Snuggy.

Stenberg has been awesome at both WJCs. His production in his league play over the years has been underwhelming though, besides his short stint in the Allsvenskan. I definitely think he is capable of being a top 6 forward, but I'd like to see him break out in the SHL before I am comfortable projecting that.

Are the medal games on TV today?

Nevermind. Just saw they were on TSN.

Interviewed Stenberg before the game. You can feel the disappointment still oozing through him but they have to refocus, so this is an interesting character focus for Stenberg, to see how he responds to what is clearly a bitter, bitter Swedish loss

Who specifically should get credit for these savvy draft decisions (and pro scouting I would add with regard to the offer sheeted players)? I’m looking ahead to the Steen takeover and curious how things like the scouting staff communication will be managed.

Jiricek looks good early, a couple of nice plays. Now Stenberg commits interference on Stancl, good call

STANCL scored again from Jiricek and Jecho. 1-0 Czechs

Jan Vopat is the head of the European Amateur Scouting, so I'd give a ton of credit to him. Troy Brouwer is our current pro scout.

There seem to be some conflicting opinions on Lindstein but I don’t know how everyone isn’t pumped about Stancl’s showing. He’s been incredible.
