What a wild swing of events! Latvia defends the 5 on 3 AGAIN and scores a miracle burble goal to make it 3-1. Latvia going on the PP after commercial. Shots 30-5. getting late in the 2d period
Was a nice dish from behind the net though. But yeah, that was offside.primary assist for Stenberg. Latvia took a penalty then halfway through it they had too many men on the ice. then they held Sweden shotless on the whole PP and Swedes scored right after. But they are challenging Stenberg's point for offside ...
... it's offside. I thought it was in real time too. oh well. half the game still to go!
Lindstein had those three whiffs in the first half of the period but otherwise he looks Petro-lite to me. Poised stick. Was a nice dish from behind the net though. But yeah, that was offside.
Mateiko gets Latvia on the board. 1 goal on 4 shots now. Sweden has 30.
Washington has some nice prospects in this tourney. Hutson, Leonard, Mateiko for Latvia, Sikora for the Czechs, Muggli for Swiss (who lost the game the other day), and Satan on Slovakia
I’m still kinda new here so what’s a burble goal? What a wild swing of events! Latvia defends the 5 on 3 AGAIN and scores a miracle burble goal to make it 3-1. Latvia going on the PP after commercial. Shots 30-5. getting late in the 2d period
The Czech games are wild because two of them have been games against teams with 2 big Blues prospects each, and even when they play Kazakh or Swiss there's still 4 guys to key on. And they're all highly active. Jiricek just getting his legs under him this tourney is allowing more focus on the other guysWas curious about Mateiko, he's been really good for Latvia. Muggli has been a pretty big disappointment in the games i've watched. Was curious about him so keyed on him a bit. I can see why he was drafted, he fits that new age defenseman, he just has made alot of mistakes this tournament. Good skater though. They most likely wont need him to hit anyways since they have C. Hutson - who has looked really dynamic. I haven't caught many of the Czech games sadly, caught almost every other game.
It burbled by the goalie, and the word conjures in your mind exactly what that is lolI’m still kinda new here so what’s a burble goal?

Is he playing? I tuned in briefly but thought they had benched himHere's my Colin Ralph is HUGE post for the game.
He's playing. He was on the ice when Hagens scored the second goal. You could tell because he was HUGE.Is he playing? I tuned in briefly but thought they had benched him
You're right. Turned it back on and he's out thereHe's playing. He was on the ice when Hagens scored the second goal. You could tell because he was HUGE.
He could play two more college years after this one and then maybe step right into the lineup like Parayko in his D+4 ...I can definitely see the Parayko comparisons for Ralph. He's going to need some time but I'm intrigued.
Somehow Pronman (laughably) had Jecho ranked higher than Stenberg in the Blues pool.tense til the final whistle. shots 50-13. incredible netminding by Feldbergs. He robbed Stenberg like 5 times in the third alone.
guys we have two impact pieces in Lindstein and Stenberg
I make up a lot of words because words are like paintI see and yeah that’s about what I thought. Lol
I’ve never played the game before so I didn’t know if it was a term that folks brought up in the culture knew or if it was a typo. I can be dense though….
