If the puck doesn’t bounce and Cozens gets wood on the pp chance it’s likely 1-1.
They need to be better in their own end and get it out quicker and they’ll be ok.

I don't see the hype with Byfield. Admittedly, I didn't watch him in Sudbury last year but man he looks slow and ineffective. Wonder if he just dominated kids in junior because of his size.

Byfield had six points against the Swiss and one against Germany. No other points in the tournament so far. He just hasn’t been as good as expected.

USA players are glued to their Canadian counterparts so far. Zero room to breathe, great conditioning and 100% commitment to the gameplan. Don't know that the Americans have missed an assignment yet it seems...

It doesn't matter how much talent Canada has if they don't match the tenacity and pace the Americans are playing with. The Yanks are first to just about every puck and Canada is struggling just to complete a pass.
