It's a fair point that if you've purchased a package for the preliminary round, you're probably going to build up an affinity to the Canadian team by the end of the round, but then they go off and you have to watch them on TV for the rest of the tournament.
That kind of sucks. I prefer it when one city hosts the whole thing, then you own it and the (business) success or failure of the tournament is on that city and those fans. Splitting it up the way they did sounded good at first, but not sure if it's a good idea.
