That's my 16. Playing in our rinks I'd go with Carter,Marchand,Duchene as the other forwards and and Pietrangelo,Seabrook,Girodano to fill out the defence. Corey Crawford as the 3rd goalie.

Honestly, if Giroux gets left off this team, the only logical explanation is that it's personal. That Hockey Canada has held a grudge against him for not showing to the summer orientation camp while rehabbing an injury.

The 2nd line centre spot and 2nd PK unit is literally made for him.

Btw, another thread n the main board with an idiot arguing Giroux is overrated cuz Olympics. With all the offense on that team, they couldn't score. The only ones scoring were Weber and Doughty.

Benn x 2 (1 against Norway in Prelims, only goal scored in CAN vs USA)

The point is the forwards couldn't score. Even against teams where they had the puck the whole game.

Went to the last two and was the best player in both tournaments. Outplayed Stamkos the one year and then out played Crosby last year.

Any chance he pulls a Brett hull and plays for the U.S. In the future if they snub him again? Is he even eligible to do that?

There was talks the US team was considering him, but I'm not coming up with bodies for the U-23. Domingue turns 24 this week. Gotta think Stolarz as an AHL all star is in the mix.
