Say, of all epic poets of ancient Greece, I'm of the opinion that HOMER was the most important, wouldn't you agree?

Hey, don't use up all your good one liners in one thread! :D

This should be a good one, hopefully better than that lousy game from this afternoon.

I'm going to back Kölzig and Team Germany ---> 2-1

with Deutschland tallies from Marcel Goc & Jochen Hecht...Swedish goal courtesy of Mats Sundin

hey...it could happen

I am not pleased the Germans will be playing the shallow trap yet again. Its time they show more confidence in what is their best roster in a while. The Swedes pummeled them in saltlake . The game is being played in smaller rinks now where the German's could actually use their decent skating ability to force the play some. It would be a shame to not show the World what you are capable of by limiting all creativity. The Finns showed you do not have to have all the talent in the world- have a good game plan and execute through will and determination. Here is hoping Sturm and Kreutzer can change the momentum in a close game and we see a battle.

Who are Sundin's wings? Alfie and who else?

It'll probably be Tampa's Freddy Modin, although he hasn't impressed that much throughout the pre-games. His size and shot is though valuable to the team.

I really hope the twins are gonna play, and that it's false information from Hardy to put them on the fifth line with Ekman. Andreas Johansson would also be on the bench, but i the Sedins are to be in the lineup someone more has to be on the bench. Will Hardy and Dahlen scratch any of Jönsson, Nilson, Påhlsson or Holmström? I highly doubt it. Sad.
