Well, obviously you're expected to Build a New Stadium :D I'll be honest, I do not even remember posting that, and sure enough it's from over a year ago, but I'm pretty sure it was mostly about the freer environment for celebration there

Iran in good shape as well only need a draw in their final three matches

South Korea unexpectedly dropped points at home but they should be ok as well. Uzbekistan might finally make the WC

Uzbekistan have been a fascinating Country to follow over the years - their youth teams have been getting better.

Good to see it finally paying off.

South Korea put themselves into a tricky spot with back to back home draws but you expect them to make it. Big win for Australia while Saudi dropped points away to an already qualified Japan. Australia look to have the upper hand but they finish playing Japan (h) and Saudi (a) so not clear yet. However due to their far superior GD if they can get any result against Japan they should be ok for automatic spot. China on the verge of already being eliminated
 
Damaging loss for Qatar in Kyrgyzstan, Iran one point away from qualifying as they host Uzbekistan their closest challenger to top spot
 
Nigeria's falloff has been crazy. They still have good players, too, which is the crazy thing. You'd think they should be fine on talent alone and yet
 
Iran qualify after a 2:2 draw to Uzbekistan, for Uzbekistan it was still a good result as they are one win away from qualification (UAE away and Qatar home their remaining fixtures)

Nigeria in BIG trouble after another home draw (1 win in 6); automatic qualification looks out of reach unless South Africa completely collapse, they can still make the playoff but the margin for error is thin
 
UAE score in the dying seconds against North Korea to keep their direct qualification hopes alive. They host Uzbekistan next matchday in June in a must win game, even if they do win its out of their hands as Uzbekistan would host Qatar on the final MD. Qatar cannot finish in the top 2 but still have a decent shot at the next round where two more teams qualify. North Korea eliminated

Another big result in Asia was Palestine beating Iraq, meaning Jordan jump into 2nd place for now. Iraq's loss also helps South Korea who only need 1 win from their final 2 matches to qualify. In that group it looks like a three horse race for 2nd spot between Jordan, Iraq and Oman

South Africa fielded an ineligible player this past window so could face a points deduction (which would give Nigeria some life). I know UEFA tends to only give fines for this but you never know with FIFA, some of the stuff they do in Asia is very fishy (North Korea play their home games in Laos but all of a sudden when they play UAE/Qatar its in the Middle East etc.)
 


They should’ve done this awhile ago. Whoever comes in now is basically gonna have no time to prep. Can’t see them doing well in a year

Which is such a crazy thing to say about a guy who's only been in the job a year (especially given that year in NT time is basically nothing). He was a strange hire at the time and it's obviously been a total disaster.

If you look at the personnel, this is obviously a very weak Brazilian generation, but a good coach could absolutely grind results with them.
 
It’s the equivalent of the Bauza hire for Argentina just straight up shit and it was obvious from the beginning. He even kinda resembles him
 
Give Mourinho this Brazil side and he'd give them a sixth star. It'd be ugly as shit, but it would work
