I really really really don't think USA will make it to the finals. They'll end up losing to Canada in the semis, and Canada will take on the winner of NA/Sweden in the finals.

USA wouldn't play Canada in Semis...its Top of A vs 2nd of B and 2nd of A vs Top of B

I was really rooting for team NA/USA but now I kind of want Russia to win. I want Bob coming into this season with his confidence sky high.

Maybe I am still just feeling sour about last year. But frankly I am a bit annoyed seeing Torts, Dubie, Bob etc. extending effort into the World Cup. They should be getting ready to play as Columbus Blue Jackets. We pay enough money for our seats that the NHL not the WC should be the focal point of our management and the players at this time. We cannot afford another 0 for October start.

Good thing that there are only 30 other teams in this league with personnel missing due to World Cup.

Personally I think these bad starts and talk of bad form and other excuses have very little place in the modern ice hockey gazing. Determining why and what, how and when then would turn the gazing geezer's eye to the World Cup which along with the Olympics broadcasts the latest elite-level trends in ice hockey, the game which should be the first priority no matter where you finished.

I think the ringos won 3-2 hence the optical Illusion of great success. But Marjamäki's process is swift and cunning; ice hockey of cooperation should not be underestimated as it is witnessed often behind the result. I believe that Finland won that one.

For example the U20 WJC gold continuum line of Laine, Barkov junior and Aho is the success of meidän peli brought to broad daylight.

Honestly though, I dont think you can have better preparation for the season...at least for the players, I agree about Torts Barring injury though, they should be fine tuned for the start of the season.
