You can't really blame Barzal for that... Hicketts should have moved the puck out faster or provided support. Besides, if it weren't for Barzal Canada wouldn't have been in the game anyway.

yes, you can blame Barzal for that, that was individual mistake like **** .. no excuses
 
Good showing from Germany offensively, didn't win a game except relegation, but had three forwards in the top 25 of scoring. Edit: That is more than Canada.

And a pretty good showing from Manuel Wiederer.

Thanks for the video! Those players coming from bench really celebrated that like gold, throwing helmets, sticks and gloves :laugh:

Those were very loud Czechs, everyone could hear them singing national anthem and after handshake some others song. I didn't recognize what it was.

For sure, what a great group of guys especially at forward. 2014 forwards have been underrated a bit and they will represent CZE really well out of the gate for the 2015 NHL Draft with Zacha, Kase, and Spacek.

Exactly.

Plus McKeown..he decides to go to the bench and leave a 16-year-old forward to carry the puck out with no dman back. Both he and Hicketts erred on that play..especially it being OT and 4-on-4. Barzal couldn't pass it to McKeown as he was heading off..couldn't pass it to Hicketts as he decided to rush and was covered instead of being back to support him as an open target behind the net or along the boards. Both dmen screwed up on that play.

When he grabbed the puck he also had an option to skate behind his own net and wait for the line change. Instead he tried to skate it up quickly at the wrong time.
 
When is the Canada game, I thought they were showing it on TSN...but it just looks like hours of soccer. :dunno:

Edit - nvm found it. For those who want to watch it's TSN2.
 
1-1 after first. Goals by Törnqvist on shorthanded after terrible play by Haydn Fleury. Perlini with Canada's goal on powerplay after Virtanen's shot bounced to his stick and he got a nice shot away after that.

Does anyone have a normal stream? The ones I've found keep freezing every other second.
 
As in the last game, Sweden is outshooting Canada by a margin, but the Canadians score the goals...

It's probably a product of years of "you have to shot the puck more"-hockey in Sweden. :help:
