Would like to see the Jays try and take advantage of Beltre's lack of mobility. I'd get Revere to try and bunt down the 3rd base line to start the game.
Goins has been invisible as molasses this series.
I choose Edwin for the game 5 hero.
Tepera and Hawkins have the best numbers against lefties out of our pen...
I'm scared.
Please go 7+ Stro....pretty please?
Dickey and Estrada both have good numbers against lefties and at Rogers Centre. I don't think you'll see Tepera or Hawkins at all this game unless it goes 20 innings.

Only would work on a perfect bunt and even then...The pitcher or Catcher will probably get it.
It would be a good test. I'd like to see Revere and Goins give it a shot given they're both left handed batters against Hamels .. Need to expose any weakness

Still put pressure on the defense to make a play. I think guys like Revere and Goins should definitely try it and challenge a team that has committed a lot of errors this year. Small ball is needed from your depth players in these games
Yes! We need to put more pressure on the Rangers. Steal bases, hit and run, tag up, etc. Hamels is stingy.
I'm glad it's not gallardo today
Really hope we don't have to worry about a situational lefty matchup. I'd like a comfortable lead.
I think Hamels gets the start ... but any trouble Gallardo will be in quickly.

Jays Batting average is quite a bit better vs. LHP.
Lefties: .278
Righties: .266
I did see one statistical anomaly.
Texas has a very high BA on the first pitch (even better than the Jays) .372
They also have a low BA for 1-0 count .305

Jays:
First pitch: .350
1-0 count: .371

Maybe Stroman could worry less about throwing strikes on the first pitch ?
