I dont mean to sound dumb, but with some of the comments in this thread saying Wood has essentially negative value, would the Avs be interested in a dump-for-dump trade? I dont know what they are looking for but something like Kampf (2 yrs @ $2.4) as a 4th Center or Jarnkrok (1 year @ $2.1 mil) as a 3rd/4th line RW for Wood? Same money roughly, but get out of the contract sooner.

Is that a fair framework or would the cap space be the most valuable part of a Wood trade?

I suppose it would depend on what the options to get out of the contract are. If it’s very pricey (2nd) then I’d make one of those trades. If it’s closer to a 3rd or a 4th then I’d probably prefer the space
