2 reasons. Cause everyone likes the underdog & for canadians, it makes for a way easier row to hoe. In fact, it virtually gaurantees Canada the gold.

Wow. Go Sweden! This is the same Swedish women's team that was here last month at the hotel I work part time at. They were praticing in Calgary and I didn't expect them to beat either the Americans or the Canadians. I got to say one thing though... they ain't hot babes when you see them in casual clothing.

I'm disapointed to see my fellow country men (women) lose, and I was pissed when I saw how pathetic those shootuout attempts were for Team USA. But on the bright side, this is so great for women's hockey. I would love to see Sweden upset Canada in the final.

Because Women's hockey has been percieved to be between 2 countries, Canada and the US. Sweden beating the US is terrific for Women's hockey.

Its also why every non Czech fan was cheering for Switzerland in the Mens tourney as well. Its fun to cheer for the underdog.

As a Canadian I can't hope for team Canada to lose to Finland but I hope it's kept real close to the end. Same as the Gold medal game.

It was an amazing performance by Kim Martin. Judging by the shots on goal count the game might be an anomoly but given that Martin is only 19 years old women's hockey will be a lot more interesting in the future.

Given that Canada already beat them 8-1, I don't think it's likely. That wasn't the first game the US struggled through.
