Canada already has played more good minutes in this game than they did the entire gold medal game in 2014.

Canada looking sloppy and slow right now.

They are overmatched. The Americans have more skill and tend to create better chances but the Canadians tend to gut out matches and capitalize on their chances. It's really bizzare how much the Canadians have the Americans number at the Olympics considering how dominant the Americans have been outside of the Olympics...

Shaping up as a good game. Last 2 world championships went to OT, so this may be a late, late night. As entertaining as Canada-Finland this afternoon.

The americans are doing very little themselves so far, they have not been dangerous yet.

It's the Olympics. Probably will never be in pyeonchang. again, and certainly not in this lifetime.

yah.
and if it featured Korea i could see that argument.

Yeah honestly it’s not been much better than Rio. It’s not at all for the same reasons seats were empty at most of the events there but the IOC really has to start being more choosy about certain hosting locations

the IOC is having issues finding host countries to begin with, and you want them more choosy?

The US looks pretty bad. This feels like the kind of game where if Canada can score first they may run away with it

I think you'll have a hard time finding hosts where every single sporting event will be well attended and carry high interest. Hockey is just not on the radar that much in Asian countries.
