Olympic hockey tournament hasn't been cancelled. There will be a hockey tournament at the Olympics. you can watch to your heart's delight. It just won't be NHL players playing in it.

Yeah if all it takes is one case to make a team forfeit, this tourney wont end with a gold medal game but a cancelation.

So either just cancel the whole thing or isolate the players that test positive because it's becoming a farse.

Not really. They tell you that at some point in the last 3 months you had covid (unless you were one of the 20% getting false positives).

So players have missed important games that actually matters for this? Amateurs IIHF. If one positive test was all it gonna take for a game to be forfeited this outcome couldn't be too hard to figure out

Not really. They tell you that at some point in the last 3 months you had covid (unless you were one of the 20% getting false positives).

False positive is a million times better than a false negative. It's also very useful for people to know if they ever had it due to long Covid issues.
