Not exactly a hot take when 6 of the rankings listed on Eliteprospects have him top 5 and not one has him below #12

Agree with Button, Nemec is the best D man in this draft. I have top on my list as well pretty comfortably.

Myklukha is as advertised. Midget who loses puck as soon as he is checked. I had enough of him.

McKenzie has him #11 and I trust McKenzie’s list more than any of the other ones as he polls the actual scouts for his.

He won’t make it anywhere near #11 on draft day.

Still the #1 D even on his list. Would come down to needs. Doubt no one in the top 10 wants a D-man.

I did too, I was super upset at the time.

But, Bourgault has done nothing but improve his stock and been great.

The extra pick we got was Munzenberger who is making a lot of fans with how well he’s played through 2 games at the WJC as the #1 D man for Germany.

Best Slovakian team I can remember in a long, long time. They have some seriously elite talent with this group and a number of them can be back for more after this one.

Agree on all accounts... and I think Munzenberger will become an NHL player for us. Xavier looks like a keeper.

but we just don't have an elite goalie in the pipe and it'd be nice to have him percolating...

Even this intermission segment on Wallstedt says it all. A lot of easy saves that a goalie of his caliber should make all day every day. Slovaks playing well but the shot count is a bit misleading.
 
Slovakia is playing better though a lot of those shots are garbage shots. Swedish defensemen are unable to get the puck out of their own zone in a decent manner and when ever Slovakia gets the puck in their own end it looks like Sweden is getting a 3-2 against.
 
A nice game from Slovakia, unfortunately from them, they can't end properly. Wallstedt has 28 shots in two periods, he caught everything and he had maybe really two or three hard shots. You will not receive points for a nice game.

Terrible to see the second Swedish attack, Monten still did not understand.
