It’s tough to find any sort of identity on a line of Bedard and Mac. Good luck ever getting the puck. He’s not really a complimentary player. He’s a play driver that can’t drive plays because he’s playing with better players.

Yep. I'd put someone who doesn't need the puck with them and get Roy on a line where he can have the puck on his stick. Maybe switch him and Foerster.

You have to feel for Slovakia. Almost every good player they have isn’t playing. They are missing a whole first line essentially with Chromiak, Mesar, and Slavkovsky not playing and their #1 D in Simon Nemec not playing.

So. He had 3 guys with him. At least fake a pass. Of course if he knows the goalie isn't very good then he made the right play.

Unless you get an extra goal for all of that, really isn't necessary for this.

Excellent post. Bedard and McTavish are possession heavy players That need the puck on their stick to have their impact felt. Cameron should put Cuylle on this line, he doesn’t need the puck on his stick to have an impact on the game. Roy is better suited for second line duty.

It doesn’t matter at this point. Other teams are missing players too, what’s embarrassing is how guys like Zabka, Stumpel, Nemec, bakala, and Stripai make this team in prominent roles. Plenty of better players were available but Fenes is too bone headed to select them
