Refs-4 v Canada-3. IIHF refs have been horrible as of late. First the womens final and now this. Pathetic.

They didn't win it for them, sure it may not have been the refs best day but they didn't win it for them.

They absolutely did. How many penalties called against Canada that were bogus? How many missed calls that should have gone against Sweden? The GWG came off of a missed call. Yeah, the refs won this for Sweden. It's possible Sweden would have won otherwise, but that's not how it went down today.

A loss is fine but no one likes to see horrible reffing. They let a lot go for Sweden at the end and called some pretty ticky tack penalties against Canada. Even Craig Button called out the refs.

The IIHF certainly got the result it wanted tonight. Wow, was that officiating ever brutal.

Always good to have a reminder as to why the NHL wanted its own refs at the Olympics instead of some jokers out of Kazakh division 3, or whoever was out there today.

Well, Canada didn't deserve to win, but maybe deserved a tie. I'm fine with the refs calling things tight, as long as it's for both sides, but it clearly wasn't.
