I hope the Swedes and the coach learn something from this loss.
Learning lessons: 1. Develop forwards and not only D-men. 2. I have no clue what makes Montén so great. He has done nothing as an actual coach in gaming situation. He just stands there, doesn't even use the timeout, changes nothing.

Easy call?? Canadians gone ****ing soft now?

By the new rules that technically could've been a 5 minute major, lucky they're not calling it how they said they would before the tournament began.

For the record I'm not a fan of the way they want to call hits.

Interference + shoulder to the face? Whats the issue? You can argue the interference part i guess but that was directly shoulder to face and this is iihf
I thought it was a borderline call, and I would rather them not call it, but with IIHF rules, you have to assume they will call those.

Nothing, he was just next in line in a pretty corrupt organisation.

He makes AV look like an active coach.

Well this performance is much mor on par with what I expected from Sweden before the tournament got started.

Convenient.

And here I thought it was the annual Swede's choking in elimination games....

You're delirious. It's in the semis and on we always choke. We've reached the semis 13 years in a row.

Sweden has not been playing their best or toughest game but the Swiss' lead is well deserved. Solid game and if they replicate it in the semis they will have a real shot at advancing to the finals for the first time.
