GDT: WJC Pre-Tournament Game #12:Dec 23 Canada Vs Finland

posted in another thread...sorry if posted before but looking at going to games Jan 2 and 4 in Vancouver and looking at the bracket...if Canada goes to QF is that game guaranteed at Jan 2 3:30 PST and Jan 4 SF at 5pm PST? I assume so based on ticket prices but wanted to confirm...

Usually Canada will get the prime time games when they get to the playoff round. I don't know if it is confirmed anywhere though.
 
I think I like the 2nd PP unit more than the 1st one. Suzuki seems like a threat to pass or shoot and he skates quickly unlike Glass who is too stationary on the 1st PP unit. Frost is a better playmaker than Tippett which makes the unit a threat from both sides of the puck.

The 2nd PP unit is harder to read because you don't know if Frost or Suzuki is going to shoot, or if they pass it around for a set-up. The 1st PP unit is obviously going to Tippett or Bouchard. They haven't shown they are deadly like Ovechkin yet.

Comtois bigger body than Hayton infront of the net as well.

Yes habs fans are notorious for hating oilers prospects. Also not sure what that second part has to do with anything - I didn't say he wasn't. Perhaps log off a public forum if you don't want to read player criticisms

I still have no clue what you’re talking about. If it’s a harsh criticism on his skating, as the context would imply, you’re out to lunch, full stop. The myth that he’s anywhere near a poor skater has always been false and needs to die right now. He can improve his acceleration and agility (who can’t?) but they’re both more than fine and his straight line speed, both backwards and forwards, is a strength. He was among the leaders for defencemen at the CHL prospects game testing, for crying out loud.

Have you seen how easily he escapes forwards to lead the rush?
