Still very sloppy for Canada. Nice to see Greig get a goal, he looked really good before scoring. Holy hell Bedard looks dangerous any time he looks at the net.

Latvia has gotten more chances on their PP than they have at even strength.

How I see people who constanty bitch about refs.

Reminds me very much of Canadians after they lost the WHC final against Finland this spring…

I don't think we will be seeing any more of him going forward.

That's not the only thing to admire, you should hear him with the creative roid rage epithets.
He was given an easy game and looks real shaky. If Garand goes down, I’d start Brochu before Cossa.

No finess on this Canadian team. I think they have 3 lines that are bottom line , terrible coaching

I sincerely fear for the future of competitive sports because potential officials will look at the upside and downside and say "f*** this noise".

If you don't believe me, check out the house league squirt games at your local rink and listen to the idiocy directed at 15 year-old officials coming out of the mouths of parents who have probably never been on skates.

A lot of shooters on this team relative to playmakers. Not really liking McTavish and Bedard together stylistically, would rather Johnson setting one of them up and the other getting his own line.

You can tell that no one is watching this tournament since all of the commercials on TSN are shitty infomercial style commercials.

Nah.

USA was shot out of a cannon to start last night, utterly dominating the 1st, and inexplicably went into "we got this" mode in the 2nd and 3rd.

Canada was forced to wake up midway through the game.

Good on Latvia. 2 brutal matchups to start.
Fair enough.

I just meant two weak teams staying strong early. Then the better teams take over and there is no chance of a comeback. :)
