Celebrini seems to be producing pretty well with Minten on his line though. Must be doing something right!

Dude US barely beat the Czechs after SO. Don't let the fact that Czechia had an off night vs Slovakia fool you. They are a legitimate team.

Imagine if he didn’t have Minten? The only people defending his play are Leaf fans, I wonder why?

Again yes our coaches are embarrassing, I wouldn't be surprised to find out they had money on Canada going out early in this tournament..
 
Rehkopf and Jager not seeing the ice nearly enough. Celebrini getting less than he should for how much he creates. Heard how good Beck is as a two way player and I keep seeing him and Dumais getting absolutely worked and circling back off to the bench after another GA.

Mintens playing out of a position for some reason while also captaining the team in his first time playing for Canada. Not his fault the coaches are stapling him to Celebrini. Hell the coach just swapped Cowan and Dumais so now its Minten-Celebrini-Cowan. Coach is a leaf homer confirmed!!

The hate Minten is getting is hilarious though. It's people such as yourself that drive it. Been seeing you trash Leafs whenever u can everytime I visit this site and its just hilarious. They live rent free in your head.
 
I missed the first couple of minutes because of the Finland-Slovakia game but Canada didn’t even really feel like a threat to score at all in that period. They need a response and they need it fast
 
For the love of god put Minten on the 3rd or 4th line and keep him off the pp. Put someone who can finish with Celebrini
 
This year's roster just isn't very good and a medal would be a stretch with this group. Bronze is basically the max you could generally expect given the strength of USA and sweden. You want to win gold every year but sometimes it's just not in the cards.
