Johnson was very effective in the game against Russia whereas Wright was invisible. Maybe he gets it going against lesser opposition but might be time to try out some of other talented players in that spot.

I really like Canada’s 4th line FWIW. Cuylle, Desnoyers, Bourgault have been solid tonight.

I have also found that Bedard has taken Guenther’s spot on the first line in place of Guenther.

Fingers crossed. I actually believe you guys have a big chance beating your opponents in the quarters. No matter if Czechia or Finland takes the second spot behind Canada. I do see that potential in both you and Slovakia. You can upset even if you have to play against the second team from the other group. I believe it would be good being clear underdogs, with no pressure etc. If your goaltender has a good day with Jiricek and Svozil and your top6 performing? I mean I think Canada dominated more against Russia, before Jiricek got injured and those penalties etc.
I wish you guys good luck and believe this could turn up being something joyful for the Czechs. Don't forget, this Canadian team is really good and will steamroll Finland later on.

We are talking about two months. I remember people being down on many a player in their draft year and at this tournamemt who went on to super stardom.

Saying he "isn't that good" and ignoring everything up to this point seems harsh.
