Of course, it could be a cruciate ligament tear, but I’d wait for the doctor’s report before getting too worried. Could be a day-to-day or week-to-week injury too.

Nice to see Owen Power not let the early gaffe affect his confidence. It actually seemed to get him more focused and determined, which is one of the more desirable characteristics in a young athlete, imho.

Hopefully we see Wright bear down later in the tournament. Tonight may just not be his night, it happens, especially with the very young, on an international stage.

Bedard doesn't need to be at center to have the puck go to him. Let Wright do his thing and take the hard work in the defensive zone. He's doing his job even if he's just facilitating for Bedard and Perfetti.

Lambert was much better in the early game and there are many other challengers. Hopefully Wright is just having a slow start. I just haven't seen anything from him yet. The scouts are seeing the same games.
