Overall, I'd say that was a pretty good tournament from our guys. Stiga with the GWG in the Final to top it off.
Edström finished 6 points in 7 games and was the Sweden's 1C throughout the tournament. Over 20 minutes of ice-time in pretty much every game. Was named one of the Sweden's best players in the tournament.
Nilsson also with 6 points in 7 games as the Sweden's 2C. Looked really crafty and slick playmaker.
Molendyk & Gibson as the 1st D pair for Team Canada. Molendyk named one of Team Canada's best players in the tournament and looked good.
Stiga with respectable 3 points in 6 games despite low ice-times. Should have a huge role on Team USA next year.

Yeah, all in all it was a decent result for us... Stiga getting the GWG for the Gold was a big boost.
Obviously Edstrom and Nilsson were leaned on heavily by Sweden (although Nilsson on the shootouts was kinda of an "oops"...). It's just nice they were that heavily used overall and produced alright. Gustafsson was basically a 7D with limited icetime... but he should have a bigger role next year.
It's too bad (well for us on the prospect side of things - but funny overall) that Canada tanked so badly... still the reviews are generally positive for Molendyk and Gibson despite the overall team debacle.
Stiga and Willis were kind of spare parts for USA, but that's a huge goal for Stiga.
Milota was the 3rd goalie for Czechia so didn't play.

2030 .... he won't be up soon enough for him to get traded for a 2028, The Trotz draft plan is long term.
