Interested to see how that works out.
I could see a scenario where Fowler gets the C and then it goes to McTavish when Fowler is done. I could also see them going without a Captain for most of the year and then pinning it to McT once hes ready.

Mase also laughed when said the rookie camp is obviously much different than the main camp, so let's just wait for what he has to show there.
He said that if he makes the Ducks he actually expects to start on the wing.

Well spoken kid and handled Biz/Whit's nonsense really well. Also stated that Zell, Bedard and KJ were omitted, would have the longest NHL career, shouted out Ducksnation and gave a shoutout to Minty as well. Dude says all the right things, just needs to translate to the ice.

McTavish is the Vegas favorite for the Calder this year. Am I crazy that I feel like everyone is more hyped on McTavish the Ducks fans are? I expect him to be a solid top 6 guy, never a legit line driver.

Yes, he went from semi-underrated to semi-overrated.
Yeah, I'd take Power, Beniers, and even Edvinsson (will see how Sanderson plays) odds over McT for now. McT was in the Memorial cup, the MVP of the WJC, so there is a lot of recency bias I think.
I'm excited about him, but yeah, to me he have to prove he have to be the favorite... especially without much rest in the offseason.

IMO, Power has to be the favourite. Beniers vs. McTavish might be a toss but even then I'd probably say Beniers has the inside track.
