Yeah it’s hard to be excited with these college signings since they all seem to be flops
Across the league undrafted players have roughly the same impact of third rounders.

This is not an apples to apples comparison but for a team that has used many of its picks it is a good thing to be taking shots at guys like this. You only need one or two hits and you are way ahead.

Would be real nice to see the full team together for just a few games at the end here so that we can get a look at what the playoff lineup will be. I think they're going to end up putting Ekholm on the LTIR and Kane will get some games.

At this point, you're fighting for home ice in round one, but more importantly everyone needs to be at 100% going into the playoffs. It could be a big advantage if they are able to let guys get a good amount of rest. There's no milestones being chased this year, the standings are more or less decided, and they've already blown getting home ice beyond the first round, so may as well try to use health as an advantage in the playoffs.

Edit: For guys like McDavid and Frederic, I'd almost use the last 2-3 games as preseason games. Get them up and running so that they're not coming in completely cold, but no point in bringing them back earlier than that unless second place remains up for grabs after this week.

I agree with starting Oliver.Odds of winning the next game is low and Pickards record after winning makes it even lower.
Where can we find a coach with a spine?

Pickard needs to play multiple in a row and figure out whatever does or doesn't plague him in this respect, because we may not have a choice come mid-April whether that's because Skinner is out or unplayable if healthy.

I probably have a higher likelihood of winning the lottery than Rodrigue suddenly being an actual option the rest of the season or especially the playoffs.

So Mcdavid want suppose to go on the trip early but he ended up going today? Coming back sooner then one thought?
WE have new players that haven't played yet on roadtrip as well as Kane on roadtrip. Haven't heard any expected to play. This late in the season and bonding occurs on road trips. Team probably wants more time together, getting to know everybody etc. For injured players as well it makes it feel more like they are part of team if they are going and everybody is. Most players I think prefer that to staying home.
