Passes bar for shitty toronto news, that not only leave crucial info out, but likes to sensationalize things.

I said it from the beginning of the playoffs if the Jets go deep Winnipeggers won't be ponying up $500+ per ticket every game. That's three days pay for most people lol.
You get paid $500 in three days over there as "most people"? Holy shit.

Canada is open to immigration, right? Seems a lot of these media dudes and some ("posters") here could use help with simple maths.

Oh hey there buddy, both your articles are from 2 years ago. It took me about .0023 seconds to look into your "sources" and debunk them why am I not surprised.
Yes, I know how long ago your local source and the yahoo ones were from so I have no clue what you're trying to get at. Your franchise has been having issues selling tickets a couple years ago for the much more cheaper regular season games. It should come as no surprise that the Playoffs are not sold out.

You guys chant true north during anthems, but are biting the hands that have been feeding you guys by not buying tickets and scalping free tickets to the whiteout. atleast grab 3, sell them for 300 a piece and buy tickets to go inside lmao.

It's like you guys forgot how rough it'd be (I would assume pretty rough) to not have an NHL team to cheer for.

So you post 2 rubbish articles from 2 years ago and try to argue for it?

Just throw him on the ignore list, like everyone else does.

Jets are doing fine for attendance, they're making a ton of money during the playoffs. Hopefully it motivates them to make the playoffs more often. Regarding the 100 or so unsold tickets, it's not an easy decision to drop a week's worth of income for a 3 hour game, on 2 hours' notice. Poor preparation by the ticket sales team, but not an indicator of lack of support.

The tickets issue has been there since then, as usual you guys can't see or understand the correlation being made is not my fault, but your lack of understanding of what point is being stated.

Game 5 is $300+ to get in the door in Winnipeg on Ticket master. These are all secondary market tickets, all original tickets are sold out.

Simmons lost all credibility when he made up that story about Kessel and the hot dogs.

Tickets honestly just cost too much nowadays. I can barely afford go ing to regular seasons games in Edmonton with just a friend I can imagine taking a family to a playoff game would cost an arm and leg.

I notice Steve Simmons wrote the article. The guy loves negativity in anyway cause it drives people up and arms and makes people talk about him. That's really all he cares about.

Absolutely a great atmosphere, but the team has been advertising tickets for sale just days before the games, and there are still unsold tickets on Ticketmaster after puck drop.

Hate to hear that. The Jets have been a great story this year.

Lol well, when I can't go to the game, I've got about 10 people asking to buy my tickets, so I have a hard time believing that there were any unsold seats.

I think the bigger issue is the empty section of Platinum seats every single Leafs game behind the players bench. The camera shows the puck drop there and there's 14 rows of empty seats because people are doing business deals instead of, you know, being there to watch the game.
I'm not saying the jets having a few unsold tickets is a big deal, but how are the platinum seats in T.O being empty for the first few minutes of the period a bigger issue? Those season tickets were likely sold for a higher price than a cheap home in Winnipeg. The suits in T.O are annoying but that's about it.

The idea of making tickets available on game day seems pretty bad in a small market like Winnipeg. There just aren't gonna be that many people with deep pockets looking for a night out idea at short notice.

In a huge city that's a big audience for short-notice ticket sales (hell in places like L.A. or D.C. you can see people in fancy clothes show up halfway through games and then disappear again not too long after), but in Winnipeg and Manitoba everyone knows this game is happening well in advance so no-one will just go "Hey there's a Jets game tonight, wanna go? I hear it's pretty cool".. If you want to activate your fanbase which is spread out over all the small towns in Manitoba then you gotta let them know tickets are available and in advance so they can plan it.
