Is Halak really the Jets savior though? I feel 90 percent of the meat in this offer is Wheeler and Hamonic. Just considering that goalies don't have all that much value in trades and if Halak were to be exposed in the ED, they'd get what 20 starts out of him. Don't really see the motivation there.

Isles have a buttload of centres, but not one of them are able to keep 2c. Strome + Bailey +?

Both Strome and Bailey and centres and can take your 2c and 3c spots, increasing depth down the middle. Bailey is great 2-way and Pker and Strome needs a change of scenery, but is also responsible 2-way...good on PP too. Both these guys can also play with anyone in your top 3/6/9 if there are injuries.

We have picks, are deep in defence (just not top heavy..more middle heavy) and have loads of forwards

OPen for discussion...I just think Little can help on our side. Who from our side can help the Jets?

Jets need quality not depth players. We likely keep Little until TD next year. Hopefully by then one of our young centers are ready to take over 2C.

I should have been more clear: the Jets need top-6 centers. After Scheifele and Little, they've got Perreault, who's way better on the wing and a mediocre #3C, then a bunch of 4th line centers in Lowry, Copp, Matthias and Burmistrov. Jury is out on Petan still. Little is not available unless another top-6 center is coming back.
