Post-Game Talk: Winnipeg? More like Loseipeg

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
I don't think the argument was ever that they're losing because of Lindgren.

The argument is that Fox outscores opponents 68,734-3 playing with anyone else and we just opted to not have that, and instead have a pair that's just ok.

Our coverage in the low slot is ridiculously bad. Like Giants QB play last season bad. Like whoopsy I left the milk out for a week bad. Its absolutely amazing how off the cycle, which is, as far as I know, supposed to lead to ho hum point shots hoping for a tip or rebound, there's always someone open 6 god damned feet or closer from our net. They get the puck behind the net, take it to the other side, make one pass and the next one leads to a HD chance. While on the other end, our guys are always covered in that space which is why at 5 on 5 we score purely off the rush or from a point shot deflection/screen. So frustrating.

To be fair, it's just our cycle that leads to nothing but ho hum prayers from the point.

Funny......I would have sworn that was one of the reasons for making that JT Miller trade.
It may have been, but I'd guess it was a long way down Drury's list of reasons, and even if it was on there it's probably something that you'd be expecting to see after training camp next season.
I was more talking coach, GM or even the media taking him to task, someone outside of the locker room who can impart a few 'home truths'.

If we had someone like that, I think the mood in the locker room and on the ice would be much different than it was.
