You can see they were a little tenative entering the zone since they're so used to the stupid chip and chase.

4.5 years of dump and chase. It'll definitely take some getting used to, but players like Chucky, Patches, Radulov, Byron and Lehkonen will definitely excel by using their speed and skill to carry the puck into the zone. I like what I see though.

It's beautiful.

No dumping it in, they're carrying it in. They're tenacious as hell on faceoffs that they lose to get possession back and they're not afraid to hound a puck carrier to get possession rather than back off and let them get through the neutral zone. Those, along with the D supporting the offense more are the four big changes I already notice in the first 5 minutes.

The D is really supporting the forwards, Weber just came flying in on the last play.

I realy dont like to see Pacioretty with Chucky. Pacman is probably the 2nd hottest shooter in the league and we all know that the Chucky will take a bunch himself. These guys should be separate

I don't mind putting Galchenyuk, Pacioretty and Radulov together. However I'd like to see MB get another scoring winger to play with Galchenyuk and Radulov and have another line of Pacioretty- Danault-Gallagher. Pleks-Shaw-Lehkonen would be a very good 3rd line.

I guess Byron could also fill in with Galchenyuk and Radulov in the short term if need be. They were effective before.
