This is a huge test. The Jets look to be sagging a bit over the past 5 or so games, we're missing a key defensive cog, and the wild are still rolling.

Does Ville draw in?

I think it will be a very entertaining game - hope the Jets got plenty of beauty sleep.

I'm not sure its 100% confirmed kaprizov is out for tonight.
If it is, good for us I suppose. But now we're in the position where we have a hole to fill as well, coming off of that nashville loss and the injury to snerg im going to be cautiously optimistic and say the team steps up, but its gotta be a bit of a blow to the overall confidence of the team losing a key player like snerg.

Ideally Ville hits the ground running and has some great looks.
But if we start this game sloppy I can see it getting ugly real quick.

The game in Winnipeg it took an empty net goal with 3 seconds left in the 2nd to get on the board.

I expect it to be a similar game, maybe a little more intense with 1st place being the competition at the quarter mark.

Kaprizov's status is huge, as he and Boldy have over 1/3 of the Wild's goals this year.

Wild defense have 10 goals compared to Jets 11 so something to watch there. Does Chisholm play, he was not in the lineup last game in Calgary? Flower is unbeaten in regulation this year too, wonder if he gets the start.

With guys like Hartman, Foligno and Trenin should be some physicality the Jets have to match/counter. Eriksson-Ek has given the Jets trouble in the past too.

Wild PK sits at 28th in the league, so they may not want to go over the edge.

Xcel has been a tough place to play for the Jets.

I don't think you'll see energy being a problem with the Jets but generating scoring chances may not come easy.

With the road trip now in the competitive stage against playoff teams, let's see what our Jets are made of.
