Haha Paul Maurice said we are “ A little bit like them,In a lot of ways” lol he must have just woke up

I have to out myself and glad to do it :). Kerfoot has been lit every shift. If he keeps playing like this i will never criticize him ever again. One of our best players every game. Atta boy kerf
Just saying because I don’t think anyone has snubbed him here more than myself.

Of course lehtonen still doesn’t get a game

Bogo and Holl been dog shit.

free rides for the trash. No accountability already

They are on the hook lol and it’s a uphill battle to get players in the lineup

Keefe's been all talk so far. Before the season began, he was saying things like

"Our Bottom 6 needs to be more physical"
"We need to be meaner in front of the net"
"We need to be meaner as a group"
"We need to get more physical on the boards"

Meanwhile, he's out here rotating in Powder Puffs like Barabanov and Adam Brooks, while also employing Jason Spezza on the 4th line.

The team's physical play is about the same as last year (save for Matthews laying hits now). Our bottom-6 needs to impact the game via scoring, because they don't provide any shutdown defensive play and they sure as shit don't provide any physical intimidation either (outside of Simmonds).

Why has Lehtonen not played yet, this is ridiculous lol. The Jets board really hates us, would be fun to lay the smack down on em tonight.

Despite his first two poor starts, Andy is still the team's starter. One decent performance from Campbell doesn't change that.

And while Andy is usually rough at the start of the season, the reason he gets better is by actually playing the games. He needs some game action to get into decent form.

That being said his rope shouldn't be too long, especially in a short season with a condensed schedule.

In a shortened season, I don't think the Leafs can afford to really allow Andersen to have another long bad stretch. If he can't figure out fast, they might as well go with the hot hand as much as possible. I don't think Campbell was amazing on Saturday though so I am not completely convinced he's the hot hand right now either.

All offense no defense? He's not wrong though.
I was just having a laugh at the contradiction of terms. (A little bit in a lot of ways)
Brodie said he is still adjusting to system, chemistry etc. They clogged and shut Ottawa down well last game. Game #2 was nasty looking defense ha. I hear ya

Pretty much. Campbell was solid, but not like he was amazing either.

Freddy has a strong history against the Jets.

I'm fine with Freddy starting. This however should be his last chance. If he struggles again, you go with Campbell for a little bit.
I'm a fan of Brooks so it's nice he is getting a chance though.

Edit: Brooks likely scratched, but good to see Lehtonen in. Using 7 D is actually logical as well.
