I wouldn't be quite so quick to let up. We still need 1 more win or Dallas loss. Actually, I think even a loser pt would do it for us. But either way, lets pick up that point before relaxing. Look at what happened to Dallas the other day against Van. It ain't over till it's over.
I have not been this nervous for a Jet game since game 7 vs NSV.
I think the Stars will be ready for this one. Kind of like the Jets were ready for the Blues.
Bot hteams need this badly but teh Stars might need it more after the Van city debacle.

I just checked Stars advanced stats the last 10 games and holy crap they look absolutely toxic. Who have they been missing other than Heiskanen?

Laine like metrics for their forwards minus the top line and Borque in this stretch.

Stanley - Miller has been better statistically than Fleury - Miller, and Stanley - Pionk was better than Fleury - Pionk

I'm curious to see how Stanley - Schenn looks... on paper, it's possible that Schenn could be the stabilizing type of defender that could compliment Stanley and his occasionally disastrous misreads well

That said, I'm sure the pitchforks will come out the first time a puck bounces over Stanley's stick
Agreed. To me it makes sense that Arniel would want to see Stanley and Schenn together. If everyone is healthy our top 4 D are locked in stone. After that you have Stanley or Fleury on the left and Miller and Schenn on the right. If we make a long run, it is very likely every possible combination of those bottom 4 guys will have to play together. While we (fans) are super focused on beating Dallas for first, Arniel knows we are in the playoffs and his primary focus is on getting his team ready for the playoffs. He won't want things to get too high or low over the last week, so it is just business as usual.

It's just Heiskanen. They have like the worst right side defense I've ever seen though. Worse than when Tampa was just stacking their LD.

I'm curious myself. It's risky, but having them both together could make life real tough for opposing forwards around the net. I want to be optimistic on this working.

We know Fleury Schenn can work. We know Stanley Miller can work. Let's see if Stanley Schenn works and if not, no big deal we already have a plan to pivot to.
If nothing else the Jets are going to play a big lineup tonight. Jamie Benn is really the only guy on the Stars who will want to stir the pot. As long as Marchment has face shield. This has all the makings of a finish your checks hard and try to get to the net game.

Anyone know the officials for tonight? I wonder if it gets reffed like a playoff game.

A belated "thank you" to @Jets 31 for getting the ball rolling with the GDT, albeit a bit early. Saying tonight's game is "huge" is a bit of an understatement, so I will simply go with "massive"...

Don't forget to get your guesses into the Prediction Contest before the puck drops or before my retirement investments disappear, whichever comes first...:crossfing

Thanks. I needed your calming influence. Seriously.

Kinda nice to not have a fake female poster fake complaining about our overt objectification of these wonderful ladies

The only person likely to say anything about that is @Jet and all we have to do is post a couple of shirtless hunks and that oughtta appease him

Jets are small underdogs at Bodog tonight. +105 vs. -125 for Dallas.

My money’s on the Jets. No happiness insurance tonight. Jets win or bust!
