Imagine if Kevin Sawyer was coaching this team. He never criticizes anything but it seems like he thinks it’s open season on Nic.

I think that people need to stop thinking that not having Ehlers on the first line is some sort of condemnation of his play

It's the opposite. Him and schief are the two line drivers in the top six. Ehlers is needed on the second line

The reason he's out there at the end of the period is that his line doesn't have a shift afterwards, so they can load up
