GDT: Winnipeg Jets @ Nashville p***ycats today at 6pm

Jets started off really well but got sloppy in the middle, the PK seemed to have breathed some energy back into them and they were good again the last 4 mins. The Preds have been getting caught being overaggerssive on the forecheck but the Jets haven't have been able to make clean plays in transition out of those chances.

Arniel needs to consider making the switch to play the Samberg pairing when the top line is on the ice this game. I would even consider flipping Connor and Ehlers for the rest of the game but that 2nd line had a couple of good shifts at the end.

Maybe, but looking at his faceoff's per game, just the Pittsburgh game really stands out. So who knows what's up.

I liked DeMelo throwing a big hit on L'Heroux early in the game... the guy is a Brendan Lemieux style hot head that you can bait into taking bad penalties as the game goes on.

The Preds forecheck is non-existent.

You can see why they’re bottom of the league. Decent roster on paper, but they look so disorganized.

He has obviously got something going on as they're having Connor take the draws even when Vilardi gets kicked out, wouldn't be doing that if it was just about "Scheifele feeling good about Vilardi in the faceoff circle" as Arniel claimed. I wonder if he hurt something in the fight with Ekblad, not sure if Vilardi taking faceoffs started before or after that fight.

I figured it out. So if you go under the “schedule” section on your Sportsnet app, there is an option to watch the game under Sportsnet360 specifically — and that worked (as opposed to the quick home page link on the app that tries to stream it on a different Sportsnet channel). Very bizarre. But it worked on the 360 feed.

Vilardi had 3 vs FLA, 5 vs Fla and 16 vs PITT. Other than that he had the odd game with 1.
