Aw, those poor kitties! Even felines are susceptible to heart attacks.

Unsolicited opinion: Went to see "Red One" last night and it's a frenetic ball of stupidity and childish humour. Mind you, my date wasn't much better. I'd advise giving both of them a miss.

Tonight promises to be a huge upgrade, going to see "Wicked" with a different guy. It does mean watching another Jets game on PVR and FF tomorrow but I'll be thinking of Little Eric tonight and wishing him every success in the net.

Go Jets!

Great minds think alike (see post 7)

Cats still suck

Especially those who wear yellow …….

Yellow jersey stand out
We are going to win. Jets only lost to teams that have blue in their jersey.
Wasn’t it Gretzky that said that he didn’t like playing teams that had uniform colors similar to his team. Cause he played so fast that he got confused who were this team mates?
I think it’s okay to compare this Jets edition to how Gretzky played

Betting odds are never about who a sports book thinks is going to win. It is about spitting the action so the built in house advantage guarantees them a profit. Blame the betting public.
Yup. They have it down to a science, which is why you typically don’t see a whole lot of movement from the opening line (I don’t typically see ML deviate more than 10-15 dollars from opening line).

**not a sports gambler, I maybe throw down a bet once every couple years, but I find the “science” and behaviour of sports betting interesting.

At one time in my career I worked along side the gambling industry. Actually part of my job was to teach the front line staff in the industry how it actually worked. Lots of misconceptions around gambling. And I never gamble other than picking up my wife the odd scratch ticket when she asks.

I'm still trying to figure out why Sid was so pissed... he's the guy who went to initiate contact.

What's considered "dirty" about a "reverse hit"? What's Connor supposed to do, just let Sid hit him?
I believe it's technically interference, although it might fall under the puck battle/body position exemption. They almost never call it...but it's a type of pick.

A “pick” is the action of a player who checks an opponent who is not in possession of the puck and is unaware of the impending check/hit. A player who is aware of an impending hit, not deemed to be a legal “battle for the puck,” may not be interfered with by a player or goalkeeper delivering a “pick.” A player delivering a “pick” is one who moves into an opponent’s path without initially having body position, SECTION 7 – RESTRAINING INFRACTIONSNATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE OFFICIAL RULES 2024-202588thereby taking him out of the play. When this is done, an interference penalty shall be assessed.
