Jets moving to Phoenix was karma. Would not have happened if they hadn't traded him. Based on absolutely nothing and enough of it that I am certain. Oh - same goes for Ducky.

You've got it backwards - the Jets wouldn't have traded Selanne if they hadn't been moving to Phoenix. The new owners didn't want to be paying 3 guys over $1M/year, so Paddock was forced to trade someone.

Well, the Jets might have still traded him. The team was in dire financial straits.

After all these years i cant believe what i just saw. 1978 series between the leafs and habs game 1. Every time they scored the bench cleared to congratulate. How did i miss this for so many years. And for all when did this stop?
