Winnipeg Jets clinch Presidents' Trophy

This is why Terry Pegula is a joke and Kevyn Adams should be fired. "We don't have palm trees" bro it snowed in Manitoba today and it's April 14th and the Jets won the Presidents and have made the playoffs in 7 of 8 years. Learn how to draft and create a culture.

I've been a fan of the NHL Jets since 1979.

This is the first time they've won a President's trophy.

I'm proud of my team.

Chevy has done a masterful job getting this team to where it is. A lot of us lost faith over the tumultuous occurrences of the past few months but this is the best the Jets have ever been. We are lucky to have such good hockey in Winnipeg.

Fun fact: Luke Gazdic and some of the other morons on the SN panel predicted the Jets would miss the playoffs this year, while the Jets were blowing out the SC finalist Oilers in game #1. Eat crow, you hacks.
That reminds me... whenever I hear Gazdic and his bad takes on SN I can't help but remember his most famous NHL moment (courtesy of Big Buff)...

He did it against Nashville too. And the double-whammy hits against both LA and Colorado. Buff was a different type..

I probably didn’t like him during his time in the league because he didn’t play for my team while doing all that. Now that he’s gone, I can certainly reflect on his career and come to the conclusion that he was awesome. :)

This team is legit. Reminds me of the 90's Buffalo Sabres. 4 lines deep, no superstars, and a superstar goalie who is easily their best player.
Jets certainly have a deep team, but they also have two players in the top 10 in goals (and top 16 in points), and arguably a top 5-10 defenceman (Morrissey), along with the very best goalie. Underrated top-end talent.

They also have two D pairs in the top 15 in xGA/60 (5v5).

So they have depth and quality, along with Hellebuyck. It's why they've been the top NHL team over the past two regular seasons.
