Me very excited the Jets are back
then seeing Stanley is on the second defense pairing

Ya. Matt Tkachuck was not ready to play and totally useless, and kreider was ok, but KFC was exactly what they needed in OT. Thankfully for Canada, he didn't playYou have to wonder if KC has a sour taste after being scratched for a guy that the U.S knew wasn't 50% in the final game.
Getting back out there with Scheif, two guys who might have a burr in their bonnets, might be fun to watch in the next couple of weeks.
Kinda like Garth here…So weird moment.
I have never had not had NHL club to cheer for after a best on best competition was over since 1987, even then I was no longer living in the city. This feels so strange to be back cheering for my real team?
I bet Heinola Miller outplay them

They could have gotten a ride back with those Winnipeg boys who drove to Boston for the game, he needed to clarify.Good thing we knew they were flying back because if they were driving or walking back they’d be out of the lineup much longer
You may be right but i don't think he was given enough of a chance to prove you right or wrong. Ultimately i'm glad though because he is now back with the Winnipeg Jets uninjured and maybe a little pissed .Winnipeg Jets KFC that gets some time and space is what they needed but not team USA Kyle in a game with zero time and space available. Kyle wouldn’t have seen the ice in OT on the 4th line and that is where he would have been for good reason. Yes of course he has slick hands but we didn’t see any of that during the 3 games he played because he had no room. Lots of great goal scorers on both teams but no room to breath. Goals were being generated by forecheck, turnovers, net front banging and crashing or in OT by a defensive breakdown for once in this game. I love KFC but he was not suited to that format where they weren’t calling penalties and the games were way more physical and intense.
The best thing that can come of it is that he uses the adversity as fuel for the upcoming playoffs.
Yes. Heard and agree with you.The best thing that can come of it is that he uses the adversity as fuel for the upcoming playoffs.
Scratched for six minutes of Kreider... thats got to be motivationYa. Matt Tkachuck was not ready to play and totally useless, and kreider was ok, but KFC was exactly what they needed in OT. Thankfully for Canada, he didn't play
Yeah I agree - a taste of what's to comeI have speculated that I think the way this tournament played out will be good for KC come playoff time. The playoffs are normally a big step up in intensity and competition and our team has struggled for the better part of a half a decade to compete. For KC the 4 nations war will make the playoffs seem much more manageable (fingers crossed).
The one bright spot is we have seen Kyle perform in the playoffs before - I think his play in 4 Nations was more a result of being on Team USA, and probably wanting to do too much. I do think that where Kyle differs from say an Ehlers is that he uses his skill well within a system. He is a pretty disciplined player.Winnipeg Jets KFC that gets some time and space is what they needed but not team USA Kyle in a game with zero time and space available. To be fair, even McDavid didn’t have any room in the final game until he did in OT and scored.Winnipeg Jets KFC that gets some time and space is what they needed but not team USA Kyle in a game with zero time and space available. Another way to channel the adversity is in a glass half full tack. If I am KFC, my thinking might be that hey that I wasn't part of the loss. Feck the US coaching staff, they could have had me pummel a few.![]()
KFC can take some positive energy from that reality.
That man looks perpetually constipated.Scratched for six minutes of Kreider... thats got to be motivation
Zito is going to be pissed if tkachuk is out...
Yeah I agree - a taste of what's to come
