They WERE a team that was built for the playoffs before Kyle Connor came back from injury. Since then they just haven’t been the same. I’m not making the connection. I am simply saying that the slide started happening the game after he returned. That was a fantastic game, but after that, it’s been pretty blah.

I agree 100 percent with you. The team changed from defence first to leave it to Connor.
I am also not suggesting he is not a great player but he is not a driver and is a perimeter player who typically gets the most ice time of all forwards.
